Second hand sales is the big one, but also the fact that you can still play the 1.0 version of most games even if you somehow lack internet (yes, most games do support the 1.0 version straight from the disc. That they don’t is a myth and people only look at some of the biggest western games like CoD).
Also, a lot of us simply enjoy seeing our physical collection grow in our shelves. it’s a bit like a drug and a dopamine kick.
Also, digital only create monopolies as Sony, Nintendo and Xbox have full control over their stores and there are no alternatives like on PC.
Physical not even being an alternative is bad for everyone as even digital only people will suffer higher prices, but both physical and digital being a thing hurts noone.
