Halo 4 – Crimson Map Pack Trailer

The Crimson Map Pack Trailer gives Halo 4 players their first look at three new multiplayer battlegrounds: Shatter, Harvest, and Wreckage. Each map targets a different playstyle, from large-scale vehicle warfare to intense close-quarters combat, making this one of the game's most varied DLC offerings.

The Crimson Map Pack Trailer serves as a fast-paced showcase of Halo 4’s first major multiplayer map expansion, introducing three completely new battlegrounds arriving on December 10, 2012. Rather than focusing on a single style of combat, the trailer highlights a diverse lineup designed to support everything from vehicle-heavy warfare to tight tactical firefights.

Shatter stands out as the pack’s largest offering, a symmetrical battlefield built for vehicle action with Warthogs, Ghosts, and Mantises playing a major role. The trailer also positions it as an ideal fit for Dominion and Extraction, suggesting a map designed around objective control and large team engagements. At the other end of the spectrum is Harvest, a smaller map focused on direct confrontations and Capture the Flag, where players can expect constant pressure and frequent skirmishes.

Wreckage rounds out the package with a medium-sized asymmetrical layout that blends infantry combat, vehicles, and plenty of cover. The trailer emphasizes its mix of open spaces and enclosed areas, making it a natural match for modes like King of the Hill and Regicide. Combined with the explosive gameplay clips, assassinations, vehicle collisions, and frantic objective fights, the presentation does a great job of showing how each map brings a distinct rhythm to Halo 4 multiplayer.

Overall, the Crimson Map Pack Trailer is less about flashy cinematics and more about demonstrating variety. For Halo 4 players looking to expand their multiplayer rotation, the trailer makes a strong case that these three maps offer fresh environments, new tactical opportunities, and plenty of reasons to jump back into the fight.
